About us
Complete Rational Solutions Ltd was established by Yvonne Cohen in 2016. It is a member firm of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Having graduated from University College Cork with a master’s degree in Mathematics and a Higher Diploma in Education, Yvonne qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in 1992 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. She spent sixteen years in the pharmaceutical industry, working for Warner Lambert and Pfizer. Initially working as a financial accountant, she later specialised in the implementation and support of accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards and SunSystems.
After returning to practice, she established Complete Rational Solutions Ltd to provide financial accounting services, specialising in the area of systems implementation. Yvonne has worked with clients on the implementation and use of a wide range of accounting systems suitable for small businesses including QuickBooks, Surf, Sage, Xero and the Big Red Cloud.
The firm prepares management and annual accounts for clients and assists companies and individuals with income tax, corporation tax and VAT returns.
With over thirty years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant to offer, Yvonne would be delighted to discuss your accounting and taxation requirements.

In her spare time, Yvonne has co-authored two books on the mathematician and logician George Boole with Des MacHale, ‘New Light on George Boole’ (2018) and ‘Simply Boole’ (2022). She is also a keen but slow runner!

Complete Rational Solutions Ltd prepares management accounts for small businesses and end-of-year accounts in compliance with accounting regulations. We prepare audit-exempt accounts for small companies in accordance with the Companies Act and abridged accounts for filing with the Companies Registration Office.
Taxation
We assist clients in the preparation of their annual income tax and corporation tax returns. We prepare VAT returns and VAT registration applications. We also provide assistance with Capital Gains Tax and Capital Acquisitions Tax returns.
